While this is nothing short of another incredible release from KOAN Sound, I wish they would get slightly more in touch with their song-writing/melodic side as featured in Sanctuary/Forgotten Myths/Movember Collection, and not focus solely on sound design. Regardless, still an amazing release.

While KOAN Sound's recent efforts have routinely included guitars, those are eschewed on the Chronos EP in favor of synthesizers -- and the results are wonderfully captivating. Vangelis-esque chords and pad timbres hover over the organic, bass-heavy acrobatics the duo is known for.
Favorite track: Traverse.

For us, VISION has always been about pushing the envelope, both musically and artistically. On the ‘Chronos’ EP, we wanted to write something with this ethos, whilst exploring themes of modern sci-fi and time travel, which is reflected in the track titles. VISION has been massively influential on us since its inception, so it’s been an honor to work with them on this release.
